An unknown caller made a bomb threat against a Chesapeake Bank at approximately 10:00 a.m. Friday morning, relates a press release from the City of Chesapeake.
The Bank of Hampton Roads branch located at the 4700 block of South Battlefield Blvd - located just north of the NC / VA Border on Route 168 - received a call shortly after 10 am, advising bank personnel to place an undisclosed amount of cash into a vehicle and drive that vehicle to a location in North Carolina. According to the press release, the caller stated that if the bank failed to follow those directions, a bomb located in the bank would be exploded.
Chesapeake - Lisa Diane Richard, 38, died December 12, 2008. The family will receive friends at Twifords Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake on Monday from 7:00pm until 8:30pm. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00pm at Riverside Cemetery
