A lone robber made off with an undisclosed amount of cash after robbing the Gateway Bank location at 100 Moyock Commons Drive in Moyock on Friday afternoon.
According to information provided via a news release from the Currituck County Sheriff’s Office, at aproximately 3:50 pm Friday, the robber - a black male about 5 feet 9 inches in height and in his late thirties robbed the bank and then left on foot headed toward the adjacent Food Lion parking lot.
Currituck residents now have the opportunity to receive information on current events and county news during a new video segment which will air on Ch. 18 prior to each meeting of the Board of Commissioners.
