New Hope UMC Celebrates 200 Years

     Finally, a chance to ring a church bell! A once in a lifetime opportunity…a chance to ring a historic church bell (at least 150 years old) in a church that is celebrating its 200th anniversary!
     Have you ever wanted to ring a church bell? Well, New Hope UMC is offering you that once in a lifetime opportunity on Saturday, January 3, 2009 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The bell, located in their belfry, is used to announce worship each Sunday.

St. Luke’s Episcopal moves to Parish Hall

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church is moving all services to the Parish Hall at
2141 Caratoke Highway (Highway 168) in Sligo starting with the Christmas Eve
Service on Wednesday December 24th at 7pm.
Sunday Eucharist will be held at 11am at the Parish Hall starting Sunday
December 28th. Sunday School is offered for children and adults at 9:30am
each Sunday.
