All artwork should be sent electronically or on CD/DVD in the following file types:

• JPG - high resolution (300 dpi or >), CMYK color space
• TIF - high resolution (300 dpi or >), CMYK color space
• QXD - Quark version 4.0 or higher files
• QXP - Quark version 7.0 or higher files
• AI - Adobe Illustrator no greater than version 9.0
• PSD - Adobe PhotoShop no greater than version 7.0
• PDF -  high resolution (300 dpi or >), all fonts included, CMYK color space

The following file types are not acceptable:

• Do Not Send LOCKED PDF Files - we cannot import them into our page layout program
• FAX - Do not send ads via FAX or Fax to Email, they result in poor quality ads
• DOCX - Microsoft Word Document generated from Word 2007 or greater
• DOC - Microsoft Document files containing clipart from MS Office (any version)
• XLS - Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet Documents (any version)
• PPT - Microsoft Power Point files (any version)
• PUB - Microsoft Publisher files (any version)
• Any PDF generated from Microsoft Publisher - these files are not in CMYK and are of low resolution
• I’m sure we’ll find others along the way which produce poor quality print advertising…
