Cancellations and Closings – January 25, 2013

In anticipation of the winter weather forecast across the area beginning this afternoon and proceeding through the evening, the following local school systems have announced early releases for today (Friday, January 25, 2013):
- Bertie County schools ~ dismiss students at 12:30 p.m. Friday;
- Camden County schools ~ dismiss students at 12 p.m. Friday;
- Currituck County schools ~ 2 hour early release Friday;
- Gates County schools ~ dismiss students at 1 p.m. Friday;
- Edenton-Chowan schools ~ dismiss students at 12:30 p.m. Friday;
- Elizabeth City-Pasquotank schools ~ 2 hour early release ~ All after school activities cancelled for Friday;
- Perquimans County schools ~ dismiss students at 12:30 p.m. Friday;
