Vacationers Advised to contact Realty companies
Effective at 12 noon, Sept. 3, Currituck County will lift the evacuation order for all visitors on the Currituck Outer Banks. At that time, there will be no restrictions in place on travel into Currituck County.
Vacationers are advised to contact their realty companies for information regarding the accessibility of their specific rental property.
The State of Emergency declared on Sept. 2 in Currituck County will remain in place. The county’s Emergency Operations Center is deactivated as of 12 noon. 911 Communications and emergency services will remain functional as normal.
County offices will remain closed today, and will reopen on a regular schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 7.
