Currituck County Schools is currently monitoring the National Hurricane Center data as well as our regional municipalities. We are not expecting any effects from the storm until late Thursday evening. However, the storm has strengthened and we have decided to cancel school for students on Thursday. Staff will report as usual. Again, this decision is being made for the safety of the visitors and residents who choose to evacuate and most importantly the safety of your children on the roadways.
