Stephanie J. Burwell, 45, of the 200 block of Green View Road, passed away Aug. 25, 2010 in her home. A native of Germany, she attended Beth Chaverim Temple in Virginia Beach. She is survived by her husband, Kevin D. Burwell; her parents, Stanley and Phyllis Sides of Prescott, Ariz.; her daughter, Elyse Burwell of Moyock; and her sister, Darla Backman of Chandler, Ariz. She was predeceased by her brother, Lt. Cmdr. Robert Sides. A memorial service will be conducted Monday, August 30 at noon at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, with Rabbi Israel Zoberman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Beth Chaverim Building Fund, 3820 Stoneshore Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23452. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
