Lowe, Karen Brumsey - Obituary

Ms. Karen Brumsey Lowe, age 47, of Allen, Texas, passed away July 17, 2010 in Allen, Texas. She was born December 1, 1962 in Chapel Hill, NC. She was married to H. Randall Lowe of Edenton, NC for 12 years during which she gave birth to her son, Sean Christopher Lowe. Karen lived in northeastern North Carolina for most of her life before relocating to the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area in 1997. While in Texas, she worked primarily as an Operations Planner in the technology industry and was employed by Brooks Instruments at the time of her death. She is survived by her grandparents, James Thomas Foreman, Jr. and Adelaide Walker Foreman of Moyock, NC; her father, William Brumsey, III and his wife, Madeline Forbes Brumsey of Currituck, NC; her mother, Kathryn Foreman Brumsey of Currituck, NC; her brother, William Brumsey, IV and his wife, Joanna Garbee Brumsey and their family of Currituck, NC; her brother, James Foreman Brumsey of Atlanta, GA; her partner, Stephen Francis Padilla of Allen, TX; and her son, Sean Christopher Lowe of Edenton, NC. The memorial service for Karen will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Providence Baptist Church located at 765 Shawboro Road, Shawboro, NC 27973, by Rev. Charles Stevens. The family will be receiving family and friends at the residence of James and Adelaide Foreman, 249 Brumsey Road, Moyock, NC and in the reception hall of the church immediately following the service.
