Lecture Hall Bursting at the Seams with Students!
College of The Albemarle held New Student Orientation for the 2010 Summer and Fall Semesters on Wednesday, April 21st at the Elizabeth City Campus. With over 150 students and potential students attending, COA staff and faculty were surprised at the large turnout. Orientation included a welcome, presentations from COA administrators, faculty, and students. Orientation participants were then able to visit table top displays set up by a variety of programs at the college. Some of these included construction technologies, transfer student information, developmental studies information, COA admissions, TRIO – Student Support Services, Health Sciences Programs, the COA Book Club, and Student Government Association. After orientation ended, students were able to take time to register for summer semester or fall semester classes.
COA summer and fall registration continues through April 30th from 8:30 am to 5 pm on Mondays through Thursdays and 8:30 am to 4 pm on Fridays. For more information about the college or registration, please call 252-335-0821, ext. 2290 or visit the college website at www.albemarle.edu.
