Residents of Northeastern North Carolina have only a sight risk of hearing the rumble of thunder during the evening hours.
Moyock residents may see some brief showers within the hour, as scattered showers currently over northern Camden county move through the area from the to the east.
Other showers further to the south and west - should the hold together - may affect Currituck after midnight.
