Currituck County’s 17th Annual Independence Day Celebration and fireworks display will be highlighted by a concert by country music star Stephen Cochran. The celebration, set for Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Currituck Heritage Park in Corolla, will get underway at 5:00 p.m. It will also include a fireworks display, children’s games and activities, and food vendors, as well as live music by local band The Boomerangs.
