Gibbs Woods
Olympia “Mine” Stewart Dozier, 96 died April 8, 2009. Mrs. Dozier, known as “Limp” to some, was born in Gibbs Woods, NC to the late William and Mary Alice Cartwright Stewart. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Edward Dozier and Daughter Betty Jane Dixon.
Left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Jane Olympia Bradley and fiancé Mark Hall of Williamsburg and David Michael Dixon Jr. of Currituck; great grandchildren, Walter Stewart Bradley and Nicholas Samuel Bradley, both of Virginia Beach, April Michelle Dixon and Stacey Nicole Dixon, both of Grandy, NC: and sister, Liza Elizabeth Creekmore of Moyock, NC.
The family will receive friends at Twiford’s Funeral Home, Chesapeake on Saturday from 12:30 until 2:00 pm with funeral services starting at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Cava Freewill Baptist Church. The family would like to thank Spring Arbor of Williamsburg for the loving care they provided to Mrs. Dozier.
