The Currituck Cooperative Extension will present information to help property owners utilize small acreage or small farms on Thursday, February 26, 2009.
“Putting Small Acreage to Work” is a series of programs designed to help potential small agriculture business owners make the right decisions when starting an agricultural enterprise or developing a niche market. Topics include starting a small business, growing a crop or producing a consumable product and marketing enterprises.
The Feb. 26 session will be the first program in the series. It will be held at the Extension Center at 6:30 p.m.
