Burns, Ola Mae Ambrose : Obituary

Barco, NC - Ola Mae Ambrose Burns, 87 of Moyock, NC died Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Sentara Nursing Home, Barco, NC. Ms. Burns was a native of Roper, NC.

Ms. Burns was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Burns and her son, James T. Burns. She is survived by her son, Larry W. Burns and wife Barbara of Moyock, NC; one daughter Ola Mae “Junie” Barnett and husband Harold of Chesapeake, VA. Also surviving are two sisters, Grace Styons of Grandy, NC; Louise Boyles of Portsmouth, VA; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives at Twiford Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, February 24th from 7:00–8:30 pm. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, February 25th, 2:00 pm at Laurel Memorial Gardens, Poplar Branch, NC.
