The Lower Currituck Volunteer Fire Department (LCVFD) is operating at full capacity and will maintain its full coverage area while the Powell’s Point station undergoes an improvement project. Bay repairs are expected to be completed within three months, and the total structure rehab is estimated for completion within eight months.
The Lower Currituck VFD fire engines are being housed across the street from the station, and the public is assured that LCVFD will respond in a normal capacity to emergency calls.
For any questions, please contact Fire Chief James Moseman at the Lower Currituck VFD’s Grandy station, at 252-453-2761.
