Williamson, Robert Ray - Obituary

Elizabeth City - Robert Ray “Bobby” Williamson, 54, of 901 Halstead Blvd, Elizabeth City, NC died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Albemarle Hospital. Mr. Williamson, a native of Pasquotank County, was the son of the late George Herman Williamson and Lanie Bell Clemons Williamson. He was a member of the Church of God.

Mr. Williamson is survived by his brothers, James Williamson and wife, Lois, of Shiloh, NC, and Glenn Williamson and wife, Janet, of Hampton, VA; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Lou Williamson Hulette; and his brother, Paul Herman Williamson.

A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, December 19, 2008 at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Roland Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the funeral home lobby, and at other times at the residence of Mr. James Williamson, 125 Taylors Lane, Camden, NC 27921.
