Diane Wright Hamilton, 56, of Kill Devil Hills, NC died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 following a lengthy illness. Born in Jarvisburg, NC, she was the daughter of Sidney Wright, Sr. of Jarvisburg and the late Inez Morrisette Wright.
Besides her father, Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her husband, Patrick Hamilton of Kill Devil Hills, NC; a brother, Sidney Wright, Jr. and wife, Kim of Colington, NC; a son, Mark Gibbs and fiancé, Angela Casper of Kill Devil Hills, NC; two daughters, Jacklyn H. Spencer and husband, James Spencer, Jr. of Columbia, NC, and Sabrina Hamilton of Creswell, NC; one very special granddaughter, Kayla Spencer of Columbia, NC; and three very special friends, Pam Jack, Janie McClees and Paula Spear.
A memorial service will be held at Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 3:00 PM by Rev. David Coxson.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to SECU Family House at UNC Hospitals, 123 Old Mason Farm Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27517.
