Currituck ED Board Meeting Rescheduled
The Economic Development Advisory Board meeting scheduled for November 27 has been rescheduled due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
It will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Historic Courthouse Conference Room.
At this special meeting, marketing consultant Lawrence-Park will present their findings and recommendations from a 3-month study on branding and marketing Currituck County as an excellent location for business. A future presentation of these findings and recommendations for the Board of Commissioners is being planned.
Also, the UNC Vision Study on Economic Development has been completed by research leader Brent Lane and his team at the Center for Competitive Economies at the Keenan-Flagler School of Business. Copies of this report will be distributed to board members and will be made available to the public on the Currituck County website.
