Count Airs New Cable Program

Currituck residents now have the opportunity to receive information on current events and county news during a new video segment which will air on Ch. 18 prior to each meeting of the Board of Commissioners.

“Bird’s Eye View” will deliver a number of short informational items during each airing, and will alert the viewing audience to important upcoming county events. Each video session is produced entirely by members of the Currituck County Information Technology Services department, and is filmed on location at the Historic Courthouse prior to Commissioner meetings.

“Bird’s Eye View” will air at approximately 6:45 p.m. prior to each Board of Commissioners meeting. In addition, a copy of each segment will be placed in the county government website’s video archive, which can be found at www.currituckgovernment.com.

For more information on “Bird’s Eye View”, contact the Video Production Specialist at 232-6050.
