Stout, Eunice Mitchell - Obituary

Eunice Mitchell Stout, 88, of Grandy, N.C., died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at The Commons of Chesapeake. Mrs. Stout was born in Leon, W.Va., the daughter of the late Stephen Thomas Mitchell and Martha Johnston Mitchell and was the widow of Jack Richard Stout. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Mrs. Stout is survived by two sons, Jack Stephen Stout and wife, Carol Anne and James Raymond Stout and wife, Patricia Kay, all of Moyock, N.C.; two brothers, Albert Jackson Mitchell and Donald Thomas Mitchell; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Blackman officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 28, 2008, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel in Elizabeth City. Following the funeral service the family will be at the home of her son and daughter-in-law Jack Stephen and Carol Anne Stout, 131 North Point Blvd., Moyock, N. C. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Youth Fellowship, c/o Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, P.O.
