Currituck County offers citizens another avenue of communication with county government with the September debut of eGoose, the official eNewsletter of Currituck County Government.
eGoose will offer up-to-date news and announcements, special event information, exclusive features and insight from the Currituck Board of Commissioners. Citizens can receive a free email subscription to eGoose, which will maintain a regular publication schedule of twice each month.
Through the county’s arrangement with iContact, the eNewsletter vendor, additional mailings of eGoose can also be made each month. This could include special event information or news related to a critical incident. Another available option is a survey feature, used to gauge public opinion related to a topic of importance.
As email is now a popular and commonly-used form of communication, Currituck County hopes that many citizens will take advantage of this free tool to stay connected with Currituck County Government.
* To register for eGoose go the Public Information webpage and select the “eGoose Sign-up” option from the left menu. After your registration is submitted, you will receive a separate confirmation email. Please open this email and click on the provided link to complete your eGoose registration.
